2. STUDENTS WHO DID AN INTERNSHIP DURING THE SUMMER:
The due date for the internship research paper has been extended from October 15 to October 30.

3. CPS STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL:
A College Park Scholars-wide student advisory council is being formed, and needs one student from each program. Please contact Kevin (ext. 4-9580, bax@wam.umd.edu) for more information.

A dramatic play, "The World goes Round," next Thursday evening (10/22) at 8 pm counts as a half field trip. The tickets are ordinarily $7; we are getting them for $5, but you don't have to pay for them - the program will absorb the expense. There will be a penalty, however, if you order a ticket and then DON'T go: you will be DOCKED a half field trip.

5. HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Volunteers are needed to accompany Lakeland Stars to a halloween festival Saturday, October 31, 10 am - 12 pm. Should be fun; earn extra service hours if you need them.
