2. PROM NIGHT ON THE POTOMAC:
Advocates for Children is taking a cruise down the Potomac on the evening of Friday, May 1. Invitations are going to be extended to the eight remaining programs of College Park Scholars, but first we need to know how many Advocates want to go, before we give the extra spots away. Anyone interested in going can signup outside the Advocates Office BEFORE APRIL 7, 1998. The cost will be $20.95 per person, with Advocates defraying some of the cost for ADVOCATES ONLY! If you want to bring a date who is not a Scholar, that is allowed, but they must pay for their entire ticket. A judgment will be made on or before April 7 with the exact amount. Any questions can be directed to Kevin (x49672, bax@wam.umd.edu).
3. ADVANCED NOTICE FOR FIPSE:
A summer FIPSE course is being offered on campus which can be used for internship credit. It is being held during the first session (June 1 - July 10) on Mondays from 9-11. The course is worth two hours of internship credit and is open to all Honors, Scholars, and McNair Scholars. Any questions can be directed to Dr. Gardner (x52814).
4. ROOM SELECTION:
